Lust List: Heart your Home

Love sweet love is in the air and on our minds this week and for most of us hopefully working its way into our homes.  And while we see an influx of heart icons appearing on products around Valentines day, we feel any day is a good day to inject a heart or two into your home.  We have gathered up some of our favorite Valentine inspired gifts and decor that can be appreciated year-round.

Dreamy Days, Vintage Typewriter and Fingerprint Heart Prints lend themselves perfectly to a home office or bedroom as does the Aimee Wilder Love Clouds Wallpaper which projects a love filled, dreamy atmosphere. On the other hand, for a fun modern kitchen/family room, office or teen room we would team up the Jonathan Adler Heart Needlepoint Pillow and Fab Peking Handicraft Heart Pillow with the Kartell FL/Y Suspension Light and Eames Reproduction Dowel Chair in hot pink.

Looking for adorable gifts for you or your stylish friends? How about the colorful Kate Spade Erasers in their polka dot and striped wrappings; the glossy Red Lips Zip Pouch; or the super cute Bisou Heart Glasses?  For the home, we have found small yet versatile accessories: the Alessi Big Love Bowl and Spoon makes eating ice cream all that more enjoyable; the Heart Print Bowls from West Elm come in several colors and can double up as vases, nicknack storage or serving bowls; the Arrows Pouch is great for storing receipts or pens; and the Love Scented Candle is the perfect mood enhancer for taking a soak in the tub or creating romance in the bedroom.

Thanks Beth for your kind comments. Inspiration is never a problem for us. Time on the otherhand…. If only we had time to write about everything that inspires us. Our inspiration comes from everything around us. The places we visit, the people we meet, the products we see, the things we read – design is everywhere.
