Luxury Hotel Sofitel Munich

At the heart of a Sofitel hotel, is not only French elegance and good design, but a super comfy bed known as MyBed™, an exclusive design for Sofitel.  Providing you with the best nights sleep on the planet is serious business for Sofitel, with their bespoke bed creation installed into every hotel room.  My first sleep experience on this soft and luxurious bed was last year at the newly renovated Sofitel Arc de Triomphe (for Paris Design Week) and this time was at Sofitel Munich, along with Wallpaper* magazine, to celebrate the MyBed™ Universe winning design.  Take a look at the design details in some of the different style rooms plus the ‘sleepscape’ design chosen by an esteemed panel of judges (click here to find more on this).

The MyBed sleep experience is not just about a good mattress but a layered combination of bespoke mattress, topper, pillows and luxury bed linen by Yves Delorme. Try out the MyBed™ for yourself at a Sofitel hotel, and if you get hooked, you can buy your own luxury bed from here  (or just the linen, pillows, duvet and travel pillows) and get it shipped straight to you home!

Photo above:  Not enough time in my schedule for a pampering session, but the interior of the So Spa was dark and inviting, luring me in to experience the Ayurvedic Chic or Balinese Please from the spa’s relaxation menu.  Next time, maybe…
